Graduate Aiccount Handler - Legal Indemnities
Job Information
Our client who is a Lloyds Broker is looking for a recent Graduate in Law to join its Real Estate Team in the City Office.
The purpose of the role is to act as an Account Handler in the best interests of the company. This role will be responsible for servicing accounts in an efficient manner. Servicing accounts for clients in an efficient manner within the quotation and lifecycle process, meeting client demands and needs in order to achieve optimum profitable renewal retention rate and growth.
Main Duties:
* Assist in preparation of submission and the gathering of information
* Obtain terms for customers and identify potential alternative quotations before producing presentations for account managers to discuss with customers
* Prepare documentation for existing customers in relation to quotations and mid-term endorsements in partnership with management
* Follow up on new and existing business quotations and lend support to Brokers
* Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashion
* Under supervision, prepare quotations letters.
* Assist in the RFP process as directed by senior team members
* Deal with Insurer queries in relation to customer policies
* Assist with customer queries relating to existing policies and liaise with insurers regarding potential changes and new terms for policies
* Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required
* Prepare invoices and deal with invoicing enquiries
* Secure delivery of policy documentation from Insurers and check prior to approval and release by Account Executive
* Manage accounts and process payments by deliverable dates
* Deal with account queries and credit control matters, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and any concerns are raised
* Deal with general account queries, and ensure that they are resolved efficiently
* Perform miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing
* Manage own workload in order to effectively service the client relationship and ensure placements are completed within client deadlines
* Comply with Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for the role with specific attention, but not limited to Managing Client information, Whistle Blowing, Treating Customers Fairly
Essential Skills Required:
* Educated to degree standard in Law
* Able to quickly grasp and interpret salient information
