Commanding an excellent reputation in the financial industry, they are now looking to employ an experienced Marketing Manager who will manage all marketing activities and make a huge contribution to support the growth of the business.
You will have a minimum of 5 years marketing experience, most of which will have been gained in the financial industry. A confident and capable person, you will be skilled in all aspects of marketing, from traditional marketing campaigns to social media marketing.
Reporting to the Managing Director of Commercial your key responsibilities will be:
Managing all marketing for the Company and activities within the marketing department.
Developing and implementing the authorised marketing strategy and plan for the Company in line with Company objectives.
Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
Oversight and responsibility for the Company’s marketing budget.
Managing and working closely with external PR, design, and digital marketing agencies.
Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
Planning, coordinating and implementing promotional campaigns.
Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
Preparing and delivering online and print marketing campaigns.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives and activities.
Analysing potential strategic marketing partner relationships for Company.
Ensuring all marketing expenditure remains within agreed budgets.
Accountable for measuring and reporting on campaign results.
Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments and best practice.
This role will suit someone who is passionate about marketing and is confident in their marketing capabilities across a multi-disciplined marketing spectrum.
A positive can-do attitude; has energy and enjoys building relationships both externally and internally with people at all levels including board level.
CIM or other relevant marketing qualification/ Marketing or business degree-level qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience leading financial services or B2B marketing teams.
Proven track record of delivering measurable results.
Ability to obtain, analyse and present information.
Able to formulate plans and persuade others to support such plans.
High standard of spoken and written English, excellent telephone and face to face communication skills.
Good levels of numeracy and understanding of KPIs and metrics.
Can communicate effectively and persuasively with all Company stakeholders, including senior managers, staff, external funders.
Excellent management skills with a track record of successful people and team management.
Ability to manage external agencies
Experienced in Microsoft applications especially PowerPoint, Word Excel, Outlook, CRM systems and databases.
High levels of creativity / imaginative / customer-centric.
Excellent planning, organisational, project management and time management skills.
Success driven and confident.
Hardworking and adaptable to the needs of the department.
Takes pride in work and in self.
Social media marketing knowledge, particularly LinkedIn and Twitter.
Desirable, but not essential:
Experience of leading a marketing team in Invoice finance or asset-based finance industry
Experience in copywriting and working with copywriters.
Google Adwords/ Google Analytics, SEO & PPC.
Remuneration package for the right person:
Annual salary to 65k plus discretionary bonus scheme.
